Ms. Joey Mariano is a Creative Technologist, Artist and Educator with 26 years of experience integrating arts and technology.
She uses her independent studies in STEM to find opportunities to blend artistic creativity with technical expertise in music, programming, education, entertainment, and fabrication.

Art for 8bitPeoples
Commissioned pixel art for 8bit peoples. Used an old school tile editor and stayed within color limitations for the NES look.
Multimedia Installation
Juvenile Amplifier installation. Was featured at Laboral Art Center in Spain and it traveled around Europe. Parts List: 6 mini gameboy speakers, hookup wire, and amplifier in an Altoids tin, a push button.
Rig Build and Code
Because the nmlstyl project fequently uses different hardware for each album, it’s important to have a robust player that has fewer and fewer ways to screw up. This brings together a raspberry pi and a Zoom L6 to control backing tracks and sending midi to visual routines.
